Paul J. Hamilton, P.E. has over 30 years of experience in the design and construction of bridges, highways, rail systems, high rise buildings, water and sewer plants and systems, mass excavations, railroads, and dams. His expertise in engineering, management, construction, estimating, and accounting principles has given him the ability to design, bid, acquire and complete high visibility projects ahead of schedule to the benefit of his client, the project owner and the general public. He has extensive in-field experience, having started his career in surveying and design, then moving into construction for many years, managing over-$1 billion of major freeway infrastructure projects throughout the United States prior to launching Mountain Pacific, Inc. in 1996. His expertise is diverse and includes: relocation of uranium mill tailings via rail; widening of the Harbor Freeway including the building of an elevated transitway while keeping over 400,000 vehicles per day moving throughout construction; providing design and consulting services on the elevated rail system (BART) into the San Francisco Airport, the roadways serving McCarran Airport in Las Vegas, as well as the Hoover Dam approaches; the I-405/I-605/SR-22 interchange and HOV connectors, Antler’s Sacramento River cast-in-place segmental bridge, a structure over 300 feet high above the river floor. Mr. Hamilton is registered and has worked in the numerous states throughout the United States, including California, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Colorado, Minnesota, New Mexico, Washington, Texas, and Wisconsin, and is a licensed Class A&B Contractor in California.
Tijana S. Hamilton, P.E. is an accomplished manager of complex, multi-disciplined projects which involve traffic impact assessments and mitigation identification; CEQA and NEPA processes; parking demand and operations analyses, including “shared parking” concepts; transportation feasibility evaluations; travel demand forecasting applications; on-site circulation and access plans; application for funding of public improvements; neighborhood traffic calming concepts; design development and peer reviews. Ms. Hamilton started her career at Salt Lake County over 25 years ago, worked in the Street Transportation Group in the City of Phoenix, and then held increasingly responsible positions at Parsons Transportation Group, where she managed the transportation planning section. She managed multimillion Major Investment Studies on the High Desert Corridor and I-405, and was also on-call consultant to the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency as well as the City of Beverly Hills for many years. In recent years, she has provided peer review and due diligence services to municipalities throughout California, as well as to developers, engineers and attorneys. Ms. Hamilton is registered as a Professional Engineer in California and Arizona. Ms. Hamilton was one of the founding member s of Impact Giving, Women’s Collective Organization, in which she participated as both a fund raiser as well as reviewer of grant applications.
